Guys, I am right now working on setting up DNS root server and I am wondering whats the procedure using BIND. I have to provide services to bunch of other people and they will be using hint to get hold of me. Now, the big question over here is that I have to become the root server like one of those 13 main servers. So, all the traffic is directed towards me and its upto me that I let the traffic out of the network or not. So, I am wondering can someone post that configuration. Like, I tried using forwarding mechanism but it doesnt work that way for me. Looking forward to hearing from anyone very soon ( like in 5-6 hours). This is project for a class. Thanks
