Service httpd
hI
this is my first post i am using FC6 and when the httpd starts during boot up i have the following message what is it and how to make it go off..
Starting httpd: httpd: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.0.1 for ServerName

httpd is the apache server. I would assume that you haven't configured the config file and it can't get a fully qualified domain name from you setup.
If you don't want to run apache, simply type
#chkconfig httpd off

You need to make sure you have a VirtualHost setup and/or that your /etc/hosts file is correct.

thanks i got it solved it was tht my hostname was set as localhost but in the httpd.conf file it was
www.example.com i never noticed thanks
