Server won't boor because of missing external array

I have an HP 460c blade server with raid-1 internal system disks and an external raid-5 array. They are configured as two logical volumes. I am trying to clone it to a second identical server by stealing one of the system disk raid pair.

But when the machine boots, it goes into repair mode because it can not find the expected volume on the external array.

How do i get it to skip mounting the missing volume and just boot the OS?

I planned to recreate the external array after the system is up and running.

Thanks
Peter
