Server Log Watch Hangs

Hello,

i am using the following commands in shell via putty to monitor exim logs in real time. but after some time, it hangs.
any way to get rid of hangs?

reading the documentation for tail tells you that you should use:

tail -F <logfile>

I'm using putty 0.62 on Win7 64bit and never had this issue.
if you want to try something completely different you could install cygwin and use e.g. xterm from there. At least for me it works without any issues.

What does your putty.log file say just before putty hangs?
