Server Instllation


I have Redhat Linux 8.0 version CD. I want to install Linux Server. I have booted with CD. I got boot: prompt there i entered expert.

after cheching hardware. It is asking insert drivers disk. Which flopyy i have to insert.

which image floppies are required to install.

Welcome to LQ!

Why are you using RH8? This is so old now, that you are wasting your time even bothering with it. RH8 is no longer supported, so there are no security updates, or recent versions of programs.

Your best bet would be to get a recent version of Linux. If you like RH, try Fedora Core which is the successor to the free RH distros. If you need stability, then Centos (Free RH clone), or even something different like Ubuntu or Debian.
