Question users disappear after some time without restarting

hi Linux users/admin,
i created 8 users with single home directory named /logic. and assigned 4 users to one group and remaining to another group. and those users added files.
but after 1day there are no users.but the groups are there without having this users. while i am checking the file permissions. in the place of owner it is showing the uid of the user rather showing the user name .of-course the uid also not in use why because there is no user with that uid. i didnt restart that system. how can i create users permanently
i used the commands as

"
useradd -d /logic -s /bin/bash acc1
useradd -d /logic -s /bin/bash acc2
gpasswd -a acc1 accounts
gpasswd -a acc2 accounts
"

Well, it sounds like someone has root access or equiv...
Also, why on earth give them the same home dir; it'll end in tears, trust me.
