Sendmail using the wrong IPv6 address

I'm trying to figure out why my server has just randomly decided that it'd send using the wrong IPv6 address. Either that or Google has just started using/SPF checking IPv6. My domain is on 2607:f2f8:3180::2 yet sendmail seems to want to use ::18 instead. Is there something I'm missing to force sendmail to use the IP of the domain in the from?

Edit your /etc/mail/sendmail.mc configuration file and add/modify the following lines:

DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Name=MTA, Family=inet6')dnl
dnl DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Name=IPv6, Family=inet6, Addr=2607:f2f8:3180::2')

then, execute the following commands:

cd /etc/mail

make all

/etc/init.d/sendmail restart
