Sendmail: Unable to find/Installation failure?
 
Hi,

I have a Dedicated Server with Fedora as its distro, and the problem I'm having is currently with getting mail sending out through PHP function.

i.e. PHPs mail()

It hasn't been working so I looked through the php.ini file to see if anything is wrong, and I found the path to Sendmail, which is "/usr/sbin/sendmail"

I tried navigating to this directory - and it turns out its not there.

Right, this has confused me since I believe I installed it correctly.

The configurations "/etc/mail/sendmail.cf" for example IS there.

I installed sendmail and sendmail-cf with this:

yum install sendmail sendmail-cf
and

rpm -qa|grep sendmail
gives me

]$ rpm -qa|grep sendmail
sendmail-8.14.2-1.fc8
sendmail-cf-8.14.2-1.fc8
