Sendmail--Smart host entry not working

I have to send mails from my server through our company smtp server. So i configured sendmail with smart host entry, such that it will send the mails through that smtp server.
Server is RHEL4u5.

I made an entry in sendmail.cf as "DSsmtp.domain.com"

But when i issue the cmds to send a mail it shows as follows,

"... Connecting to [127.0.0.1] via relay...".

Instead of connecting to my "smtp.domain.com".

What to be down so that it will connect to "smtp.domain.com via relay"

Thank in Advance

Dhanju
