Configuration:

RHEL4 running sendmail 8.13.1-3 configured to pass incoming mail through clam & spamassassin then forward it to exchange on MS2003.

Problem:

It has been working happily for a long time but over the xmas break (2 weeks) the MS box was not available leading to "no route to host". It appears to have bounced the emails after 5 days but there seem to be many that are just "missing".
I cannot find any place on the server where they are stored. Is there a "secret" location other than /var/spool/mqueue ?

Or are they just gone?
