sendmail mail loops back but with a weird mail.barnhallrfc.com MX host

Hi Guys,

I have a weird error in my log. Here it is:

System Error Messages:
mail.barnhallrfc.com. config error: mail loops back to me (MX problem?): 1 Time(s)

It appears that someone "smart" pointed 'mail.barnhallrfc.com' to 127.0.0.1. ANd if you make a ping it actually resolves to localhost. So the scenario is as follows for me. I get spam from the user@barnhallrfc.com to non-existent user in my mailstore, and then obviousely sendmail tries to send bounce but when it looks up mail.barnhallrfc.com it resolves as 127.0.0.1 and this loop mail error appears. So how to fix it? Usually, with my legal hosts which receive locally emails I add them to /etc/mail/local-host-names and this fixes the problem. But I am not sure what the hell should I do with this case? Any ideas? Thank you.

You can add the offending domain in the sendmail access database to discard the mail from it.
