Sendmail Configuration


Hi

How can i configure sendmail in a linux machine which is directly connected to other linux machine with a cross over cable running fedora 5 and fedora 6 and has not connected to any DNS server.Is it neccessary to connect to a DNS server to configure sendmail.Can i make one machine as a DNS server and try to configure sendmail in both the machines.

Pls help
