Probably an easy one but I just cannot find the setting to change the 'from' part of the delivered email.
Basically we have an exchange 2003 server which handles all the mail and our logistics application on a RHEL 5.5 server. The application that we use will be mailing invoices etc to clients.
This is all working fine at the moment with the local sendmail relaying all mail to the exchange server, no problems. Except that the address the mail is being sent from is
user@server.company.com instead of just
user@company.com.
I'm sure its something simple that i cant see (forest for the trees and all that) but can someone give me a leg up, im hung over and its a Friday afternoon and I want to go home =/
