Seeking recommendation on spam arrestor


Hi folks,


Ubuntu 7.04 server amd64
Apache2
Postfix 2.3.8


Spam are found on Maildir. Following packages are on repo;
spamassassin
spamfilter
spamass-milter

Which of them would you recommend? Thanks.


smtpguard is also found on repo. Any folk tested this package before? What is your comment?

I've used postfix without anything attached to it - it can run a huge bunch of checks, reverse dns, rbl lookups, regex based mail and subject tests... lowered the spam rates by 98%

you can simply google for demo configurations of postfix main.cf and master.cf
