It`s possible to use Samba4 with GPO and 389-DS as directory server for samba?

I'm not familiar with 389 Directory Server, but Samba 4 provides its own directory server with LDAP functionality. AFAIK, it does not (currently) support other DS backends.

Is there any particular functionality in 389 DS that Samba 4 does not provide?
