Samba user in a Windows group
 

Hi Guys,

I have a samba server (Samba 3x 3.5.4, CentOS 5) with ldap back end. It is working without any problem (that's not the worry :)).

When I join a windows machine to the domain, I automatically get 'Doman Admins' group added to the Administrators group of the Windows machine. Similarly, how can I add a domain user/group to another Windows group? Say for example, I have a 'maintenance' group on the samba domain; now I want this group to be added to the 'Backup Operators' group of all the domain members. How can this be done?
