Samba Shares on Mandriva 2008

I'm searching for a way to create a share that does all of the following:

1. It should require no authentication (no password needed)
2. It needs to point to the /var/www/ directory
3. Any user who connects to the share should be able to write to it.
4. Any data written should be owned by user apache and group apache

I have Mandriva 2008 and am using it as a server. For convenience, since it's a web server, it would be nice if people inside our network could connect up to a share when they want to modify files for the web server in question. The problem I'm running into with my configuration is that (on Windows at least) is that it prompts for a password and nothing works (not my credentials or root).

Any thoughts on what the smb.conf should look like or what I'm missing. Checking permissions on the www/ directory and its subdirectories are all owned by apache at this point.

Please help? Thank you in advance.

Have you added apache as a samba user?

I would think you could use

force user = apache

force groupe = apache

in the share definition.

To avoid password, you may need to define security = share (but not certain)
