Samba is set up, but one Windows box cannot connect

Samba is set up fine with multiple macs, multiple linux boxes, and mupltiple windows boxes all connecting fine. I just reformatted one of my windows boxes (which used to connect fine), and when I try and connect to samba, the user/pass does not work. I am convinced it isn't even connecting to the samba server becasue if I just type \\IP, then it says it cannot find the location. If I do \\IP\server, then it asks for a user/pass and never works.

This has happened once before, and I just restarted the computer and it worked fine. Restarting both boxes does not solve the problem either. The subnets and workgroups are the same on the other windows computers that can connect to the server so I have not reached a conclusion.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Make sure that "Simple File Sharing" isn't turned on on the Windows machine. It's the default and it never works properly.

I tried disabling Simple file Sharing and that did not solve the problem either.

This is the error I get:

\\192.168.1.7 is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to findo ut if you have access permissions.

I figured it out. The samaba server is called jrockau17@josh-desktop and my windows box is called josh@josh-desktop. Even though the user names are different, the "josh-desktop" part threw it off. I deleted the account and re-created it using a different name.
