Yes, this is possible as long as you and the other user(s) connect using different accounts. You could accomplish this in several ways:
- use a dedicated account for yourself and map unknown users to the guest account
- manually create accounts on the file server for all users (and perhaps disable guest account mapping)
- configure Samba as a domain controller and have the PCs join the domain
If all you want is a way to separate your files from everybody else's, the first alternative will work and is pretty easy to set up.
