Samba Domain Controller
 
i m using fedora core 6.0: i have found a strange happen today,my samba domain server machine's network was inactive while my domain user did logon successfully on windows machine,that was under of samba domain
what is this and how it can be controlled ????

I want to disable the users to logon on clients machine, if domain controller is not available

There is a local policy on the Windows machine (I'm assuming Windows XP/Vista) that you can set so that if it cannot contact the domain controller, it will not allow the user to logon until the domain controller is back up. By default, Windows caches user credentials in case the domain is down.
