I assume that one can setup Samba with a Domain Controller so that I can have my own personal domain at home... right? If so, is it just necessary to specify the few fields in the smb.conf file and restart or are further steps required?
I just want a temporary domain at home for a certain project to work.
Also, there are numerous posts here on LQ with smb.conf files for different types of domains. Bust out the google-fu, then search here on LQ. You will find more than enough info.
