samba, add dir, but dirs that's there are ro

so, guess topic says a bit

user: maria
groups: smbshare

chmod: folder is 770 and all the content are 750

so i realised that folder mask only affects what the folder contains and not the folder itself. so i need some sort of bypass for this. that is, i want a bypass

any thoughts?

Use:

create mask =
directory mask =

In your directory share and insert your desired bitwise permissions

I.e, (ultra-simplistic)

[my_shared_dir]
path = /my/dir/path
valid users = my_user
create mask = 0770
directory mask = 0770

Note: "create mask" and "directory mask" are synonymous with "create mode" and "directory mode".
