Safe to delete all contents under /var/spool/up2date

Hi.

The site http://kbase.redhat.com/faq/docs/DOC-3195 says that it's safe to remove the RPM files located under /var/spool/up2date, but does not say anything about the other files located there (such as the header files plus some other files I don't what do exactly). Does anyone know if these files can be deleted too? I'm guessing it can, but that's just guessing.

Regards,
kenneho

The "some other files" I don't know about but headers are just cached for speed. And experimenting with deleting cache files is easy. After (making a backup and) deleting files you update again you'll see it draw in the header files again.
