Run script on shutdown or reboot
Hi all -
I either can't remember or never knew the answer to this. Where would I put a script that I want to run on shutdowns and reboots on Red Hat Enterprise server? Would it go in /etc/rc5.d (or any other rc*.d directory) with a K in front of it? Thanks! |
Probably. I believe you could also put the necessary scripts in the rc.S/ folder, but that's a world I never delve in to.
