could anyone please give me instructions or any weblink giving detailed instruction on how to set up postfix to run in a chroot jail in red hat enterprise linux 5?
by default, postfix in rhel 5 is not installed to run chrooted.
I don't recommend it. You loose a lot by jailing postfix, unless you are running a very basic postfix gateway. For example, spamassassin does not work well in a jail; and other very cool things you can do with postfix do not run well or are a pain in the arz to get to work in a jail.
