run a webpage in localhost

I install LAMP in fedora 24 workstation. It works as in website (http://www.tecmint.com/install-lamp-...-on-fedora-23/).

I create an html page. but i don't know how to open in localhost and locally connected computers and devices.

Please help me to open my webpage in local computers using my hostname or ip address.

Did you edit the "httpd.conf"?
( might be broken up into a few files -- SUSE dose that)
you are aware that "localhost" is also 127.0.0.1

did you see the "congratulation Apache is installed" default page ?

and have you read any of the documentation on the apache site ?

Apache is a rather COMPLEX bit of software

on the LAMP computer open a web browser to http://localnost. The default web page should open.

For other machines on your LAN, make sure http is open in your firewall on the LAMP machine, then LAN workstations should be able to access using http://<your ip>

If you are using virtual hosts, you'll need some kind of name resolution so clients can use a textual url to your server. I use dnsmasq for lan name resolution. You can also edit /etc/hosts on clients.

Step 4 and 5 of that how to would have opened the web server. That being your computers ip address usually.

I think the question of localhost is confusing the issue. You don't usually want to run anything on 127.0.0.0.

To access your lan then the same step would be as in 5 to use that computers IP address in lan computers.

You can create a hosts file to make some name work.

I use Habitual's link all the time. The server itself is the best place to verify a new apache installation is working, using a gui browser if available or lynx from the command line. Either way, if your server was installed properly you should get a page back as verification the server is able to serve up http.
