Did you read and/or understand the error message??? It VERY CLEARLY tells you what's wrong. Either you didn't configure the MySQL user correctly, didn't grant the correct privileges, or the MySQL database on localhost isn't running.

The VERY OBVIOUS things to check are:
  • Is MySQL running on localhost?
  • Can you type in "mysql" on your localhost system, and get attached?
  • Can you then log in as the user/password you configured?
  • If so, can you then attach to the database you created?
If any of those things fail, then you need to fix them. Could be a simple matter of selinux running on your system. But the error is VERY clear, as are the steps in trying to resolve it.
