rpcbind insecure mode

I am using Debian Testing and portmap is deprecated in favor of rpcbind. I'm trying to start rpcbind in insecure mode. This is in my /etc/defaults/rpcbind

Code:
OPTIONS="-w -i"
Yet it still doesn't work.

Am I missing something?
