Rhel6


I installed RHEL 6 on VM Ware workstation .But i m unable see GUI .only able to login in Command line.Please me out

RHEL6 normally boots into init3.
So you can try by booting it in init5.
Also note that if you have done minimal installation. It does not picks up graphics process by default.
If it is so you would have to install it.

rhel is very often installed to a headless server and has no need for any gui
you need to install the desktop environment
please consult the rhel documentation for the CURRENT, RHEL 6.3 .

with Red Hat your first stop is the redhat knowledge base
almost all and every normal everyday question has a answer there

( you will need to login to redhat with the credentials you set up when you bought the required support contract / license )

Also on a VM
it might be your VM settings that are causing problems
