I am using sendmail in rhel4.I want to change the domian name abc.example.com to example.com for incoming and outgoing mails.any thing to be changed in nameserver and sendmail.cf. pl. help me.advance thanks

You can modify the sendmail.cf entry beginning:

Dj$w. (this is normally commented out)

Not sure (can't remember) if you need to set it to:

Code:

Dj$w.example.com

or:

Code:

Djexample.com

Don't forget to restart the sendmail daemon once you have changed the config file.
