Hi guys
i am haveing a comp in which i have fedora 8 install on it
it was working fine
But today when i started my comp i was giveing a resulation problem
i started with higher resulation (.e..i 640*480)
i tryed useing a command
#system-config-display
it did not gived me option to select the resolation i am have only one option in that (640*480)

i also tryed reboot the comp then also same result
i also tryed a command
#startx
nothing hapns
i tryed every thing that i know
can u help me out
how to get the screen normal

fedora 8 has been unsupported since it's " End Of Life " two years ago

install the current fedora 12


from your post it looks loke a driver issue

what 3d card do you have ? if you have one.
