Remote admin Win7 VM

Hi folks,

locate desktop - Ubuntu 10.10 64bit
IP:123.123.123.123

Win 7 64bit - running on VM of VBox
IP:456.456.456.456

Both on Intranet

What will be an easy way to connect Win7 for admin, such as config including transfer of files between Win7 and Ubuntu 10.10 etc.

TIA

Easiest way I can think to do it.

Put them both on the same subnet
Turn on remote access in W7 (fixes connect to W7 for admin purposes)
Either share folder on one or both machines to copy back and forth.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your advice.

On Linux PCs I just run ssh to do admin and scp to transfer files. But to remote admin Win7 on Linux desktop it needs GUI. There are a number of ways such as RDP, FreeNX, VNC etc. Previously I used RDP. What is the latest development? Any new solution?

Oh I got you now. :)
RDP is pretty painless.
