Reinstalling grub boot loader

This forum is related to the reinstallation of grub boot loader. Two operating systems are installed on my PC windows xp & RHEL 5.
After installing vmware on my window machine i restart the system. This time it by default enters in a grub mode i reinstall the grub. Now its showing me the menu & i am also able to rum the windows machine but not the RHEL. Its giving me an error message cannot mount the selected partition, choose the partition correctly. Is anybody can help me.

Could you post the contents of your grub configuration file: /boot/grub/menu.lst

Also could you post the contents of your partition table which you can get with the following command:

fdisk -l

Since you cannot boot Red Hat you will probably have to boot a rescue CD to get this information. There is a rescue CD on your Red Hat install CD.
