I want to run this code in linux,im using latest xampp in my server, when i run this code im getting this error,

Fatal error: Class 'COM' not found in /opt/lampp/htdocs/word/example.php on line 2

can anyone help me on this,i have installed cross over software in linux + wine software.

COM? Is that not a windows thing? And why would you want to run a windows version if there is a XAMPP for Linux too?
