REDHAT DHCP SERVER is not able to assign IP addr on a different network
 
i just tried times, but DHCP server seems not able to allocate ip address on the different network (with cisco relay in between server and client)

say:
Linux eth0:10.1.1.1, and dhcpd.conf with subnet:192.168.0.0/16
client in on the network 192.168.0.0

well what's your config look like? what actually does happen?
