Read Only File System in root
 
HI,

I am getting below error message in /var/log/messages file

Result: hostbyte=DID_OK driverbyte=DRIVER_TIMEOUT,SUGGEST_OK
kernel: sd 0:0:0:0: timing out command, waited 1080s
kernel: sd 0:0:0:0: Unhandled error code
sd 0:0:0:0: SCSI error: return code = 0x06000008

I'm not sure how helpful this will be but, I found the following:

I also see that it has been posted on an ubuntu forum....
One of the posts in the ubuntu forum points to RAID errors and possibly a bad drive...
it states to try this:

sudo fsck.ext3 -f /dev/<device>

I would suggest checking for amber lights on your server.
