Raid 0+1 in Redhat Enterprise Linux 4
 
Hello Everybody,

Can anyone suggest me how to implement Raid 0+1 in Redhat Enterprise Linux 4 ? Iam familar with installing Raid 0, 1 and 5..

i don't think you can directly implement it, but i'd not recommend it anyway. instead i'd suggest using LVM inside Raid 1, which will give you *exactly* the same resilience and capacity, but with the additional flexibility of LVM instead of the unconfigurable raid 0. you can certainly do this in the installers, just do the raid, and then make the resulting md0 amd md1 a single lvm physical volume, then partition that tio your hearts content.
