question about fsck


hardy heron ,was wondering if someone could tell me how often under default does fsck run automatically,don't have a problem but for my own info was wondering if anyone knows,thank you.

You could find out using dumpe2fs -h <device>
look for lines starting with:

Mount count:
Maximum mount count:
Next check after:
Last checked:

30mounts or six months, whichever is earlier.

It can be changed of course (depends on FS type)
