ProFTPd can't change directory "no such file or directory"

This is driving me crazy. I know it's something dumb but I have googled and searched and can't find it.
I am logging in as a local user and trying to change to a sub directory of that users home folder. When I "ls" I see the directory, but proftpd says it doesn't exist.
Here is my session:
Code:
ftp> open 10.8.2.33 2121
Connected to 10.8.2.33.
220 ProFTPD 1.3.1 Server (ITDB) [10.8.2.33]
User (10.8.2.33:(none)): chuck
331 Password required for chuck
Password:
230 User chuck logged in
ftp> ls
200 PORT command successful
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for file list
results
226 Transfer complete
ftp: 9 bytes received in 0.00Seconds 9000.00Kbytes/sec.
ftp> binary
200 Type set to I
ftp> ls
200 PORT command successful
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for file list
results
226 Transfer complete
ftp: 9 bytes received in 0.00Seconds 9000.00Kbytes/sec.
ftp> cd results
550 results: No such file or directory
ftp>
Here is my config file:

Here is a directory listing showing permissions.
Code:
itdb:/home/chuck# ls -la

You need to set the execute bit for the directory, so use at least:
Code:
chmod 700 ~/results
