Problem with uploading on Linux server with operating system Centos

on a Linux server based on operating system Centos I have started a web site written In goomla,
the problem is that my upload has been limited to 2-3 Mega, Despite my adjustment on global configuration for 300Mega.
I checked the problem with a few editors, but the problem remains. My question:
Is there special adjustment for this purpose?
I have given rwx permition to all the site folders. The website has Apachi permition and its data has mysql permition.
Thank you
Mohamed

Do you mean you are using Joomla! to write your website?

Where did you increase your upload limit, in php.ini?
