problem with postfix and courier

I'm running ubuntu and using postfix and courier for POP3 and SMTP service. After I was done configuring the server I tested it with Outlook but when I click test it successfuly sends the test email but it doesn't accept my login to login to POP3. Any suggestions?

I'd suggest that you try posting the relevant log messages.

Try looging in, and from a terminal window, type

# tail -20 /var/log/maillog

I guess this is the correct log file name (it is for FC5 but may not be for ubuntu).

This will give us a much better idea of what's going on
