problem with fully qualified domain name and apache

hey there all
i am running ubuntu linux 7.10 and using apache2 with virt hosting.
everytime i restart apache, i get this error.
Code:
Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using mysdomian.com for ServerName

this is what i have in /etc/hosts
Code:
127.0.0.1 mybox.mydomain.com mybox localhost
10.10.10.5 mybox.mydomain.com mybox
127.0.0.1 localhost mydomain.com
i am on a network behind a router, but still don't think that that has anything to do with this,.

any tips would be much appreciated

It is likely that Apache can look up its host name using /etc/hosts; the problem may be that it cannot check that the address given (10.10.10.5) corresponds to the name it thinks it should use. I have never relied exclusively on /etc/hosts to handle name resolution; instead, I recommend a simple DNS nameserver running on your 10.10.10.x network somewhere, that will respond to both forward and reverse lookups. This should make this complaint go away.
