Hello everyone,
I do have a weird problem.
I googled quite a bit trying to find a way to fix a maildir of a virtual user on a server that uses postfix and courier-imap.
The users are old users and they do have their maildir createad I check them and the seem consistent.
Now looking at the maillog of the server I found something funny
Code:
[root@atlreml01 log]# tail -f maillog |grep cf9a9bf6-7dbe-4ad0-b921-c1aa4671e147
May 20 17:51:31 atlreml01 imapd: LOGIN, user=cf9a9bf6-7dbe-4ad0-b921-c1aa4671e147, ip=[::ffff:10.10.2.31], protocol=IMAP
May 20 17:51:31 atlreml01 imapd: LOGOUT, user=cf9a9bf6-7dbe-4ad0-b921-c1aa4671e147, ip=[::ffff:10.10.2.31], headers=0, body=0, rcvd=91, sent=259, time=0
May 20 17:51:31 atlreml01 imapd: LOGIN, user=cf9a9bf6-7dbe-4ad0-b921-c1aa4671e147, ip=[::ffff:10.10.2.31], protocol=IMAP
May 20 17:51:37 atlreml01 imapd: LOGIN, user=cf9a9bf6-7dbe-4ad0-b921-c1aa4671e147, ip=[::ffff:10.10.2.31], protocol=IMAP
May 20 17:51:43 atlreml01 imapd: DISCONNECTED, user=cf9a9bf6-7dbe-4ad0-b921-c1aa4671e147, ip=[::ffff:10.10.2.31], headers=0, body=0, rcvd=392, sent=753, time=6
May 20 17:51:43 atlreml01 imapd: DISCONNECTED, user=cf9a9bf6-7dbe-4ad0-b921-c1aa4671e147, ip=[::ffff:10.10.2.31], headers=0, body=0, rcvd=392, sent=753, time=12
Now if you notice the login is successful but when it gets disconnected the number of mails received and sent varies quite a bit from login to disconnect.
Any ideas of what might be the problem or how can I try to fix the maildirs of the users?
Thanks so much.
