Problem install mt-daapd on debian sarge 3.1

hi,

i got a fileserver running debian sarge 3.1 stable, i got all my music stored on it.

now i want to let my laptop use that music(itunes), and i was told daapd or mt-daapd for debian
is the thing to use. but when i tried install mt-daapd with apt-get with stable in sources.list
it could find the package, so i added testing, but then alot of other packages needed to be installed
like: libavahi-compat-howl0, libavcodec0d, libid3tag0 and so on. but should no be installed apt-get quoted.

so, what do i need to do to get this working?

thanks!
