powerdns

Hi all, I have installed powerdns and powerdns recurser with the mysql backend. everything is working fine when I add a domain let's say www.test.com to the database and do
host www.test.com 127.0.0.1
pdns returns the A record.
Now what do I need to do next so that this dns works on the internet.
I registered two nemservers ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com at godaddy and set them to www.mysite.com and I added www.mysite.com to the database of the pdns. www.mysite.com is not working it seems like the dns server i built is not working from the internet.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,

You know, it can take up to 12 - 24 hours for a new DNS registration to take effect. Perhaps you just need to wait a bit longer?
