Power Management - Centos 5.2
 
Hi, I would like to set the server to power off automatically when there is no activity in 1 hour. The problem is how am I supposed to do that without GUI in Centos 5.2?

What kind of activity ?
If you mean network activity then it's hard work because there is always some kind of network activity.

In any case you will probably have to script it yourself.

The GUI powersave provided by gnome abstracts acpi or apm so you never actually deal with the hard stuff.
