Postfix SASL authentication for SMTP server
I'm having some issues with an SMTP server that I'm setting up to send outbound mail for our Outlook clients. I'm using Postfix with Cyrus SASL for authentication, but the server won't Authenticate my login.
I telnet into the server on Port 25, giving the EHLO command, which reads;
250-AUTH PLAIN DIGEST-MD5 CRAM-MD5 LOGIN NTLM
250-AUTH=PLAIN DIGEST-MD5 CRAM-MD5 LOGIN NTLM
I enter "AUTH PLAIN" and enter my base 64 encoded user/password but it won't authenticate. The mail log shows "warning: unknown[192.168.1.121]: SASL PLAIN authentication failed: another step is needed in authentication".
I've gone through a few walkthroughs that have helped me eliminate a few issues, but I can't figure out what the missing step is.
I've attached a txt of /etc/postfix/main.cf for those that may have more experience reading this than I do.
What's in your /etc/postfix/sasl/smtpd config file?
