Postfix reverse name resolution problem
Hi guys,
My postfix on Linux fails to resolve reverse DNS of some hosts. When I look at the logs, I see that it rejects mails with message "unknown [xx.zz.aa.bb] ... cannot find your hostname".
However, when I use "nslookup xx.zz.aa.bb" from the shell to reverse-lookup the IP it has rejected. Resolution is working perfectly.
On my system Postfix has a chroot dir under /var/spool/postfix, and under that there's another etc/resolv.conf. I made sure it's exactly the same as the "real" /etc/resolv.conf. Still, it doesn't work.
Can somebody please suggest something?
