postfix problems

Hi,
I am repeatedly trying to send emails with sendmail to my address on gmail
and altough I have installed postfix and mailq-s output is empty the email
still doesn't get to gmail.
What should I do ?
What does this mean?
Also how can I erase all messages in the mailq ?

This on a DHCP assigned connection? If so, that's probably your first issue. Most ISP's will block emails from DHCP addresses in hopes they're blocking some spammer. Are the messages getting bounced though? Are they getting returned?
