Postfix Multiple Domain Handling

Hi There,

I have a Fedora Core 4 server running with postfix on it and its been working fine with just the one domain on it. I now need to add another 4 domains on to the server.

Am i correct in thinking that i can just add the domains to the list of domains to receive mail for?

All our domains are hosted by the same ISP so i only need the one POP and SMTP server settings as all the mail will go into the same POP box then hopefully postfix will do the rest.

I also have another problem that 2 of the domains have the email address info@domain.com and info@domain2.com clearly i cant setup a user for info as they need to be collected by 2 seperate users, i would like to setup 2 users on the system then have postfix identify the incoming mail and then send it to the relevant user for example:

email comes in for info@domain1.com => user: infod1
email comes in for info@domain2.com => user: infod2

If any one can help me on this i would be eternally greatful.

Many Thanks in advance for looking!

yeah essnetially that's right, you jsut say you are those domains. for the same usernames in multiple domains, you'll probably want to look at the virtual user tables, which is exactly what you're after. just check the manpage for "virtual" or look at /etc/postfix/virtual
